We're taking a fun ride by bike share through Lower Roxbury and the South End.

During this event, you'll learn about different bike-share membership options. You'll also hear from other residents on how they use Bluebikes for quick trips to destinations all over the City. If you have basic bike riding skills but need to build your confidence riding on the street, this ride is just right for you. We will start out on low-stress streets and paths so you can get comfortable on the bike and build your skills.

Bluebikes and helmets are provided at no cost for all participants. The ride will start and end at the same Bluebikes station. If you cannot yet ride independently in a parking lot, please do not register for this event.

Stop by the Boston Water and Sewer Commission anytime from 6 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, to join the conversation about the future of Melnea Cass Boulevard. We'll have hands-on activities related to safety, green infrastructure, operations and maintenance, the public realm, and the gateway intersections at Washington Street and Albany Street.

We will also have a special session for the students, teachers, and parents of the Orchard Gardens school on Thursday, May 10, to explore these topics from their perspectives.

This year for Earth Day, Greenovate Boston will host events during Boston's Civic Engagement Week. We will be presenting our work and the leaders materials to the general public. We will share information on our programs, including Carbon Free, Climate Ready, and Zero Waste Boston, and also outline ways for people to get involved. Snacks will be provided!
