The event is an educational tasting event that will feature Mixologist Brooke Rose offering innovative mocktails you can make at home using fresh and local ingredients. The event is accompanied by Deep House Music. A Chef demo will offer tasty bites from Haley House.

This event will honor the rich cultural heritage of Central America, featuring the ceremonial raising of flags from countries such as Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Belize.

The day will be filled with traditional music, dance, and delicious cuisine from across Central America. It's a wonderful opportunity to learn about and experience the pride and unity of the Central American community here in Boston. All are welcome to join in this joyous celebration of culture, history, and community!

Join the City of Boston in celebrating Mexico's Independence Day with a special flag-raising ceremony at City Hall Plaza. This event honors Mexico's rich cultural heritage and its vibrant community here in Boston.

Mexico’s Independence Day, celebrated on September 16th, commemorates the country’s fight for independence from Spain in 1810. The day is marked by festivities across the globe, and we are proud to join in recognizing the contributions of the Mexican community to Boston's diverse cultural fabric.

The event will feature remarks from city officials, community leaders, and representatives from the Mexican Consulate, followed by the ceremonial raising of the Mexican flag. We invite residents and visitors to come together to celebrate this important day and reflect on the shared values of freedom, unity, and cultural pride.
