City Council Committee on Ways and Means Hearing on Dockets #1658-1661

Message and order approving a supplemental appropriation of One Million Thirteen Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Five Dollars ($1,013,755.00) to cover the FY19 cost items contained within the collective bargaining agreements between the Boston School Committee and SEIU, Local 888 Administrative Guild. The terms of the contracts are September 1, 2016 through August 31, 2017 and September 1, 2017 through August 31, 2020. The major provisions of the contracts included base wages increases of 2% in September of each fiscal year. The agreements also contain other benefits including new steps.

Message and order to reduce the FY19 appropriation for the reserve for collective bargaining by One Million Thirteen Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Five Dollars ($1,013,755.00) to provide funding for the Boston Public School for the FY19 cost contained within the collective bargaining agreements between the Boston School Committee and SEIU, Local 888 Administrative Guild.

Message and order approving a supplemental appropriation order for the Boston Public Health Commission and the City Housing Trust for FY19 in the amount of Two Hundred Eighty Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-Nine Dollars ($280,229.00) to cover of the FY19 cost items contained within the collective bargaining agreements between the Boston Public Health Commission and Local 888, SEIU-Programs Unit. The terms of the contracts are October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017 and October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2020. The major provisions of the contracts include base wage increases of 2% effective the first pay period of January of each fiscal year. The agreements also contain other benefits including a new step beginning in 2019.
