The East Boston Latin Music and Dance Festival will take place on September 21 at East Boston Memorial Park!

This event brings together local musicians, dancers, and businesses to highlight the strength of our community and celebrate the beauty of Latin American cultures. Join us for a joyful day of community celebration featuring Latin American music and dance, delicious food, kids’ activities, local arts and crafts vendors, and more!

State Senator Lydia Edwards presents the 3rd East Boston Latin Music and Dance Festival “Sonidos de la Gente”, in partnership with ZUMIX, VROCC, East Boston Main Streets, and the City of Boston. This is a community effort to provide a free concert where families and friends can enjoy a summer afternoon full of music, dancing, and Latin American food!

Join the Boston Red Sox for Hispanic Celebration, presented by Goya, on Friday, September 20. Ticket holders who purchase via this special offer will receive a Medias Rojas replica jersey. The jersey will be available in adult sizes S-XL, with preferred size distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

This event will honor the rich cultural heritage of Central America, featuring the ceremonial raising of flags from countries such as Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Belize.

The day will be filled with traditional music, dance, and delicious cuisine from across Central America. It's a wonderful opportunity to learn about and experience the pride and unity of the Central American community here in Boston. All are welcome to join in this joyous celebration of culture, history, and community!

Mexico’s Independence Day, celebrated on September 16th, commemorates the country’s fight for independence from Spain in 1810. The day is marked by festivities across the globe, and we are proud to join in recognizing the contributions of the Mexican community to Boston's diverse cultural fabric.

The event will feature remarks from city officials, community leaders, and representatives from the Mexican Consulate, followed by the ceremonial raising of the Mexican flag.
