0545 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Fifty-Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Sixteen Dollars ($58,916.00) in the form of a Recreational Trails Program grant, awarded by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy & Environmental Affairs/Department of Conservation & Recreation, to be administered by the Boston Transportation Department. The grant will fund additional expenses, fees, and professional services beyond what was originally anticipated for a new, accessible gateway and path in the Arnold Arboretum from the Bussey Street Underpass in Roslindale.
0546 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) in the form of a grant, for the Professional Development Fund, awarded by the Shah Family Foundation to be administered by the City Council. The grant will fund a comprehensive professional development initiative for the Boston City Council, with the focus on racial equity.
