The grant will fund the Boston Fire Department's Training Division for FY19. The State earmark supplements City funds for training, supplies and materials for the Boston Fire Training Division and Academy.

0109 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Two Hundred Eighty-Three Thousand Dollars ($283,000.00) in the form of a grant, for the Double Up Food Bucks Program, awarded by the United States Department of Agriculture, passed through the Fair Food Network, to be administered by the Office of Food Access. The grant will fund additional activity and programming from the Mayor's Office of Food Access beyond the original award including; the hire of staff, program evaluation, and additional support and outreach in targeted neighborhoods to provide nutrition incentives to SNAP recipients.

0110 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Hundred Seventy-One Thousand Two Hundred Forty-Two Dollars ($171,242.00) in the form of a grant, for the Title III-Ombudsman 2019, awarded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, passed through the MA Executive Office of Elder Affairs, to be administered by the Elderly Commission. The grant will fund services and advocacy for seniors in nursing homes.

0111 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Hundred Twenty-Three Thousand Seven Hundred Fifteen Dollars ($123,715.00) in the form of a grant, for the FY19 Fair Housing Assistance Program, awarded by the United States Department of Housing & Urban Development to be administered by the Fair Housing & Equity. The grant will fund the processing of housing discrimination complaints received by the Boston Fair Housing & Equity Commission.

0112 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) in the form of a grant for the FFY2019 Traffic Enforcement Program, awarded by the United States Department of Transportation, passed through the MA Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, to be administered by the Boston Police Department. The grant will fund high-visibility traffic enforcement of motor vehicle laws, including but not limited to, speeding and aggressive driving, impaired driving and occupant protection.

0113 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) in the form of a grant, for FY19 First Responder Naloxone Administration Grant, awarded by Massachusetts Department of Public Health to be administered by the Police Department. The grant will fund the purchase of Naloxone and related supplies for use by the Boston Police Department and the Boston Fire Department.

0114 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept the amount of Thirty-Five Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($35,200.00) in the form of a grant, for the FY19 Fair Housing Assistance Travel Program, awarded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to be administered by the Department of Fair Housing & Equity. The grant will fund travel cost for the Office of Fair Housing and Equity employees to attend training that is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The grant will fund FY19 Child and Adult Care Food Program.
