    Message and order approving the appropriation of Five Million Four Hundred Twenty Nine Thousand Three Hundred and Four Dollars ($5,429,304.00) for the purpose of paying for the costs associated with window replacement project at the John Marshall Elementary School (UP Academy). This includes the payment of all costs incidental or related thereto, and for which the City of Boston may be eligible for a grant from the Massachusetts School Building Authority (“MSBA”), said amount to be expended under the direction of the Public Facilities Department on behalf of the Boston Public Schools.

    Message and order approving appropriations of Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($600,000.00) for the purpose of paying for the costs of a feasibility study and schematic design work associated with projects at the following schools: Rafael Hernandez School– boiler replacement, Patrick Lyndon School – boiler replacement, Donald McKay K-8 School – boiler replacement, James Otis School – window replacement, Josiah Quincy Elementary School – boiler replacement, Snowden International School at Copley- roof replacement and the John D. O'Bryant School of Mathematics and Science-window replacement. This includes the payment of all costs incidental or related thereto, and for which the City of Boston may be eligible for a grant from the Massachusetts School Building Authority (“MSBA”), said amount to be expended under the direction of the Public Facilities Department on behalf of the Boston Public Schools.

    These matters were sponsored by Mayor Martin J. Walsh, and referred to the Committee on July 11, 2018.
