City Council Committee on Healthy Women, Families and Communities Hearing on Dockets #1375 and #1376

Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Million Two Hundred Fifty-Seven Thousand Eleven Dollars and Sixty Cents ($1,257,011.60) in the form of a grant, FFY18 Title III-B: Supportive Services, awarded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, pass through the MA Executive Office of Elder Affairs, to be administered by the Elderly Commission. The grant will fund a comprehensive and coordinated health and social service system, which assist elders to maintain independent living in their own communities as long as desired.

Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend a grant of Four Hundred Seventy-Four Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-Three Dollars and Seventy-Five cents. ($474,233.75) for the FFY18 Title III-A Area Plan Administration, awarded by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, passed through the MA Executive Office of Elder Affairs, to be administered by the Elderly Commission. The grant would fund administrative expenses of the Elderly Commission Area Agency on Aging
