Acquisitions
The Boston Parks and Recreation Commission, for the purpose of restoring open space that is historically part of Franklin Park, hereby accepts the transfer, from Zoo New England to the City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department, the care and control of a parcel of land known as the Bear Dens located in the Long Crouch Woods portion of Franklin Park, land bounded and described according to a plan of survey titled “Sheet EX-3, Existing Conditions Plan, Franklin Park, Boston, Massachusetts; 1 Franklin Park Road, Boston, Massachusetts, 02121” dated January 24, 2020; Prepared by Nitsch Engineering, 2 Center Plaza, Suite 430, Boston, Massachusetts 02108 for Reed Hilderbrand, LLC; 130 Bishop Allen Drive, Cambridge, Massachusetts 02139; and to authorize the Commissioner of the Parks and Recreation Department to enter into all contracts, agreements, or documents and execute any and all instruments as may be necessary to effect said transfer.
