Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Hundred Forty Thousand Two Hundred Fifty-Three Dollars ($140,253.00) in the form of a grant, for the FY24 Retired Senior Volunteer Program, awarded by the Corporation for National and Community Service to be administered by the Age Strong Commission. The grant will fund administration for senior community service volunteers, including reimbursement for meals and travel expenses.

Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Hundred Eighty-Four Thousand Three Hundred Twenty Dollars ($184,320.00) in the form of a grant, for the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Funding for Family Caregivers Support Program Stipends, awarded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, passed through the MA Executive Office of Elder Affairs, to be administered by the Age Strong Commission. The grant will fund Respite and Supplemental Services Stipends to family caregivers enrolled in an Aging Service Access Points Family Caregiver Support Program.

Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) in the form of a grant for Chinatown Childcare Services, awarded by the Boston Planning and Development Agency to be administered by the Office of Early Childhood. The grant will fund to support the creation and sustainability of Family Child Care and Center Based programs.
