City Council Committee on Government Operations Hearing on Docket #1373

An ordinance to support public safety as the City doubles down on our public health-led approach to the crises of mental health, substance use, and unsheltered homelessness concentrated in the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard. This matter was sponsored by Mayor Michelle Wu and referred to the Committee on August 30, 2023. 

NOTICE:  The Boston City Council may have a quorum in attendance due to standing committees of the City Council consisting of both voting and non-voting members.  However, members attending this duly posted meeting are participating and deliberating only in conjunction with the business of the standing committees.

Public Testimony

Members of the public are cordially invited to attend and testify in person or virtually.
