  1. COMMUNICATIONS FROM HIS HONOR, THE MAYOR:e this notice with the agenda when it's available.

    1521 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Seventeen Thousand Dollars ($17,000.00) in the form of a grant for the Climate Ready Boston Leaders Program, awarded by various donors to be administered by the Environment Department. This grant will fund increased community education and awareness of climate impacts and possible solutions.

    1522 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Three Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-Two Dollars and Eighty-Eight Cents ($3,922.88) in the form of a grant for Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force Program Support grant, awarded by the United States Department of Justice, passed through the MA Executive Office of Public Safety & Security, to be administered by the Police Department. The grant will fund the reimbursement of four officers traveling to the 2017 Internet Crimes Against Children Conference in Tampa, FL from December 11, 2017 through December 13, 2017.

    1523 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) for the FY18 Sustainable Materials Recovery Program awarded by the MA Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs to be administered by the Environment Department. The grant will fund existing waste reduction program or facilitate new low cost initiatives.
