Tree removal hearing
The Parks and Recreation Department is holding a hearing for tree removals in the Back Bay, Roxbury, and South Boston.
A final decision on the requests will be made within two weeks of the hearing. For more information, please contact the Tree Warden at 617-635-7275.

10 a.m.: Request to remove three public shade trees at Massachusetts and Commonwealth Avenues in Back Bay
The request is for the removal of three honey locust tree measuring 3, 5, and 7 inches dbh (diameter at breast height) in the vicinity of 83 – 87 Massachusetts Avenue as part of a construction project at the Eliot Hotel, 370 Commonwealth Avenue, Back Bay.

The request is for the removal of one honey locust tree measuring 16 inches dbh (diameter at breast height) due to the construction of two new homes at 19 and 21 Mount Pleasant Street.
