Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) in the form of a grant for the FFY2019 Traffic Enforcement Program, awarded by the United States Department of Transportation, passed through the MA Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, to be administered by the Boston Police Department.

Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Million Five Hundred Fifty-Nine Thousand Fourteen Dollars and Eighteen Cents ($1,559,014.18) in the form of a grant for the 2019 Senator Charles R. Shannon, Jr. Community Safety Initiative, awarded by the MA Executive Office of Public Safety and Security to be administered by the Police Department.

Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount Three Hundred Five Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-Two Dollars ($305,362.00) in the form of a grant for the FY18 Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Site-Based Program, awarded by the United States Department of Justice to be administered by the Police Department.

Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Two Hundred Fifty-Seven Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-Two Dollars ($257,492.00) in the form of a grant, for the FY2018 DNA Capacity Enhancement and Backlog Reduction Program, awarded by the National Institute of Justice to be administered by the Boston Police Department. The grant will fund two Criminalist positions, overtime, lab supplies, and continuing education expenses.

Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Two Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($280,000.00) in the form of a grant for the Safe & Successful Youth Initiative - Amendment FY18 and FY19, awarded by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services to be administered by the Boston Police Department.
