COMMUNICATIONS FROM HIS HONOR, THE MAYOR:
1333 Message and order for your approval a Declaration of Trust entitled "My Way Cafe Trust Fund." This Trust will further promote the public health, safety, convenience and welfare by promoting the health of students in Boston's schools. This Trust establishes a fund in the City to renovate or retrofit kitchens and to facilitate serving fresh, healthy meals cooked on-site in various Boston Public Schools.
1334 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Hundred Twenty-One Thousand Dollars ($121,000.00) in a form of the FY19 Jail/Arrest Grant, awarded by the MA Department of Mental Health to be administered by the Police Department. The grant will fund Crisis Intervention Training.
1335 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) in the form of aOur Town Grant awarded by the National Endowment of the Arts to be administered by the Office of Arts and Culture. The grant will fund arts programming and cultural district planning in Boston's Latin Quarter.
1336 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) in the form of a grant for Love Your Block, awarded by Donor Group to be administered by Neighborhood Services. The grant will fund a mini-grant for Neighborhood Beautification projects.
1337 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) in the form of a Local Artists grant awarded by the Harvard University Office of General Counsel, passed through the Boston Redevelopment Authority, to be administered by the Office of Arts and Culture. The grant will fund Year One of an agreement to donate $10,000 per year for 5 years to the Boston Cultural Council Opportunity Fund for the benefit of the Allston-Brighton artist and free community arts experiences to Allston-Brighton residents.
