RESIDENTIAL MATTRESS RECYCLING PROGRAM

The City is seeking three contractors to collect, haul, and recycle mattresses and box springs city-wide from all qualified residential properties. This large-scale program would recycle or reuse residential mattresses and box springs (or units), diverting them from landfill or incineration. The program does not include any commercial properties, private entities, big buildings, or exempt properties.

 

Proposals will be solicited through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal: boston.gov/supplierportal. All times refer to Eastern Time.

Contract Documents will be available through the Supplier Portal on or about 9:00 am on October 20th, 2025.

Submit Questions via email by 5:00 pm on October 28th, 2025.

Proposals must be submitted via the Supplier Portal by 11:00 a.m. on November 10, 2025.
