TO PROVIDE RETAIL ELECTRICITY SUPPLY FOR THE CITY OF BOSTON COMMUNITY CHOICE ELECTRICITY PROGRAM (BCCE)

The City of Boston, acting by the Environment Department, 1 City Hall Square, Room 709, Boston, MA 02201, hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites proposals for the project listed above. The successful Respondent will supply electricity to all consumer accounts participating in the Program (“Participating Consumers”) pursuant to an Electric Service Agreement (“ESA”) with a supply term of 12 or 24 months commencing on the first meter-read date following December 1, 2025. The City has engaged Colonial Power Group, Inc. (“Colonial”) as its Program consultant. CPG will perform certain duties on behalf of the city, including administering this RFP and assisting the city with administrative activities as identified in the ESA.

 

Proposals will be solicited from vendors through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal: boston.gov/departments/procurement

All proposals for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: To Provide Retail Electricity Supply for the City of Boston Community Choice Electricity Program (BCCE).

Technical proposals may be submitted as early as Tuesday, July 22nd but shall be submitted no later than 12 P.M., Boston time, Friday, August 8, 2025, and opened forthwith. Final Executable Pricing must be e-mailed to Stuart Ormsbee at sormsbee@colonialpowergroup.com no later than 11 A.M., Boston time, Tuesday, August 19th, 2025.
