LEASE AND PURCHASE OF EDUCATIONAL SPACE
The City of Boston and Boston Public Schools (BPS) are seeking to lease and eventually purchase 130,000–200,000 square feet of educational space to serve as the new home of BPS’ Edward M. Kennedy Academy of Health Careers, which, in addition to high quality academics, currently offers career pathways in nursing and emergency services. BPS is seeking to expand this secondary school by doubling its capacity to 800 students and adding facilities to train students in surgery, medical imaging, biotech, and medical lab science
The RFP will be available on the City’s procurement website and Supplier Portal on or after Wednesday, 07/02/2025, after 12:00 P.M. EST and will remain available until the date and time of the opening of proposals.
Proposals must be submitted before 5:00 P.M. EST, Friday, 08/1/2025.
Proposals may be submitted electronically through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal (boston.gov/departments/procurement), or physically. If submitting via paper, price and technical proposals shall be submitted separately in sealed, clearly labeled envelopes on or before 5:00 P.M. EST, Friday, 08/01/2025, to Nathaniel Carrington, Assistant Business Manager, Finance Department, 4th Floor, Boston Public Schools, 2300 Washington Street, Boston MA 02119.
