Improvements to Evergreen Cemetery Building Repairs

The City of Boston, acting by the Parks Commission, hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites sealed bids for the project listed above.

 

Bids shall be on a form supplied by the Parks and Recreation Department shall be clearly identified as a bid and signed by the bidder.  Bids shall clearly be labeled with the project name. All bids for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: IMPROVEMENTS TO EVERGREEN CEMETERY BUILDING REPAIRS, BRIGHTON

Bids shall be submitted before 12:00 P.M., Boston time, Thursday, October 31, 2024, at which time the bids will be opened read aloud through a virtual meeting. Due to the current public health crisis and restrictions around gatherings, interested parties will not be able to access the building for the bid opening but will be able to view the event live through a link provided on the City of Boston website: boston.gov/departments/parks-and-recreation/doing-business-parks-and-recreation. Bids shall be filed with the Awarding Authority, 1010 Massachusetts Ave 3rd Floor Boston MA, 02118, accompanied by the bid deposit previous to the time named for opening of bid. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any and all bids, if it be in the Public Interest to do so.

SPECIFICATIONS AND PLANS will be available after 9am on a USB Thumb Drive, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 1010 Massachusetts Ave, 3rd floor Boston Ma 02118. No deposit is required.  Electronic copies are available upon request via email at BPRDBids@boston.gov.
