Youth Speaks Boston
A citywide needs assessment for 14-25 year-olds — launching October!
Overview
OYEA will initiate a comprehensive Youth Needs Assessment focused on Boston’s youth population aged 14-25. This assessment aims to gather data that will identify ongoing areas of need for young individuals across various issues. In addition to questions common to the entire target age demographic, the assessment will include specific question sets for ages 14-19 and ages 20-25. For ages 14-19, the assessment will focus on what is needed to enhance their lives during out-of-school hours. For ages 20-25, the assessment will focus on this group’s needs as they transition into adulthood, and where gaps might exist in the resources available to them during this period. The collected information will serve as a valuable resource for youth-serving organizations, and aid in informed decision-making throughout the city.
