Landscaping, Snow, and Trash Removal Services for Melnea Cass Boulevard
The City of Boston, through its Public Works Department (PWD), hereby invites sealed bids for a Contractor to perform all site maintenance work, lawn care, and snow removal around Melnea Cass Boulevard as specified in the Scope of Work.
This procurement is being released as part of the City of Boston’s Sheltered Market Program. Only businesses certified as M/WBE by either the City of Boston or the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office will be eligible to bid. Due to the industry of the work and the proven disparities for that industry, this procurement will be open to all types of minority-owned and women-owned businesses. Three (3) responsive and responsible submissions from eligible businesses are required to award this contract under the Sheltered Market Program. Contract Documents will be available online through the Supplier Portal at 9:00 am EST on Monday, March 25, 2024.
Attend Mandatory Site Visit: 11:15 am - 12:45 pm EST on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Potential bidders must have a representative attend the site visit to be considered responsive. Please meet at the corner of Shawmut Avenue and Melnea Cass Blvd. Representatives should be prepared to walk the length of the service area and back (2 miles). The walk-through of the area will start promptly at 11:15 am
Bids shall be submitted online via the Supplier Portal or physically at the office of the Official, Public Works Room 714, Boston City Hall before 12:00 P.M. Boston time, on Thursday, April 18, 2024 and shall be opened on the same date at 2:00 pm via online meeting: https://meet.google.com/ssk-pwbw-isp
