Acquisition Fund Administrator
The City of Boston, acting by and through its Public Facilities Commission by the Director of the Mayor’s Office of Housing (MOH), is seeking an Acquisition Fund Administrator to administer the new Acquisition Loan Fund (Fund).
The Fund will pool five million dollars ($5,000,000) of City funds with grants, donations, low-return time-limited investments, and equity.
The Fund will provide low cost loans to developers to purchase occupied naturally occurring affordable housing that developers will make permanently affordable. We are seeking a third-party Fund Administrator with expertise in risk management and underwriting to administer the Fund.
The RFP package will be available on March 18, 2024 at 9:00 am through the City’s Supplier Portal (www.boston.gov/procurement) under Event #EV00013788. Completed proposals must be submitted as specified and electronically submitted by May 16, 2024, no later than 4:00 pm.
One optional Bidders’ Conference will be held by video conference on April 9, 2024, 2:00 PM. Attendance is not mandatory but is highly encouraged. Applicants interested in the conference should email the Program Manager.
