Khalid Mustafa

Special Projects Manager

Khalid Mustafa arrives with more than 15 years of career development services, supporting City and community-based organizations within Greater Boston. Khalid has designed, implemented and operated numerous programs with nonprofit organizations. Working across age groups and diverse populations of underrepresented families within the community, Khalid has discovered innovative ways to support individuals towards career growth.

Khalid is passionate about contributing to the success of others and has dedicated his career to working with those on the frontline as a change maker. Intimately understanding the obstacles and roadblocks for returning citizens has always been at the foundation of my work within the community. Khalid has even volunteered for organizations dedicated to changing policies and regulations that lacked inclusiveness for all residents.

Born and raised in Boston, Khalid understands the landscape and works very well with others. Earning a degree in education and technology Khalid has a Master’s degree in Community Development Policy and Practice from the University of New Hampshire. Equipped with real-world experiences on the ground the courseware connected with political and policy perspectives as a professional. Having the opportunity to apply a global perspective to my problem-solving techniques is truly beneficial. Khalid is a family and community man at heart, committed to giving back in constructive ways. Enjoying the process of supporting others to achieve their goals and overcome obstacles in living a complete life. Khalid pauses for self-care by taking walks on the coastline and sitting in a comfortable chair reading scripture.
