City Council Committee on City Services and Innovation Technology Hearing Docket #1196

Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Four Million Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($4,550,000.00) in the form of a grant, for the MBI Digital Equity Partnership Program, to be administered by the Broadband and Equity. The grant will fund services and support for residents of the Commonwealth who cannot afford broadband services and/or internet-connected devices or lack the digital literacy skills needed to utilize the internet.

This matter was sponsored by Mayor Michelle Wu and referred to the Committee on July 19, 2023.
