The Air Pollution Control Commission will hold its next monthly hearing on June 14, 2023, at 2 p.m.

Public Hearing at 2 p.m.
Application for a Modified Downtown Boston Parking Freeze Permit from Howard Stein Hudson on behalf of 201 Stuart Street (Owner), LLC for 556 commercial spaces and 116 exempt spaces in the Motor Mart Garage at 201 Stuart Street. The existing facility consists of 897 commercial parking spaces and 124 residential excluded parking spaces. This permit modification is to eliminate 341 commercial parking spaces at the facility in order to redevelop a portion of the parking garage. Issuance of the permit would return 341 spaces to the Downtown Boston parking freeze bank.
Application for a Modified South Boston Parking Freeze Permit from VHB on behalf of Smiley 4 Alger LLC to combine permits APCC367761 and APCC367686 and to permit a net total of 94 commercial spaces in a surface lot at 2-4 Alger Street. Issuance of the permit would withdraw 28 spaces from the South Boston parking freeze bank.
Application for a New South Boston Parking Freeze Permit from Economic Development and Industrial Corporation of Boston for 315 commercial spaces in a garage at 310 Northern Ave. Issuance of the permit would withdraw 315 spaces from the South Boston parking freeze bank.
Application for a Modified Downtown Boston Parking Freeze Permit from Cross Street Ventures LLC for 8 commercial spaces and 10 exempt spaces in a surface lot at 28-32 Cross St. This application requests modification of an existing permit for 10 exempt spaces, to add an additional 8 commercial parking spaces, for a total of 18 parking spaces in a surface lot. Issuance of the permit would withdraw 8 spaces from the Downtown Boston parking freeze bank. *Continued to an upcoming meeting
Application for a Modified East Boston Parking Freeze Permit from VHB on behalf of Cargo Ventures LLC for 575 park and fly spaces. This permit is to relocate spaces from a surface lot at 320 McClellan Highway to a new parking garage at 440 McClellan Highway. Modification of the permit would have no effect on the East Boston parking freeze bank. *Continued to an upcoming meeting
Application for a Modified East Boston Parking Freeze Permit from VHB on behalf of Cargo Ventures LLC for 127 park and fly spaces. This permit is to relocate spaces from a surface lot at 380 McClellan Highway to a new parking garage at 440 McClellan Highway. Revocation of Downtown Boston Parking Freeze Permit APCC453915 (Historic Permit No. 85.00) located at 439-441 Tremont St, permitted for 23 exempt spaces. The facility has failed to renew its parking freeze permit, which expired on July 1, 2022, due to inconsistencies reported in the renewal form
