Lease of Two Retail Stalls at Faneuil Hall Market
The City of Boston ("The City"), acting by its Commissioner of Property Management ("The Official"), invites interested local proposals to participate in a competitive evaluation process from which one (1) successful proposer will be chosen to operate two (2) retail stalls totaling a non-contiguous 631sqft in the Grasshopper Shops on the first floor of historical Faneuil Hall for a 1 (1) year period with one 1-year option to extend at the City’s sole discretion, as particularly set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP).

The City is seeking proposals from vendors to operate Stall #5 and Stall #9 concurrently as an “incubator” for local entrepreneurs, businesses, and local partners that will emphasize Boston’s all-inclusive approach to tourism and civic engagement. The selected vendor will work with local partners to fill both stalls with a rotating selection of retail or food and beverage businesses from local providers who are looking for opportunities to break into brick-and-mortar retail.
Requests for Proposals shall be available on March 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM, until the proposal filing deadline. All proposals shall be filed no later than April 4, 2023, at 2:00 PM.
The City has arranged a site visit for March 10, 2023, at 10:00 AM, for interested operators to visit the site and make a visual inspection of the area to be leased and operated. Email pmdbidinfo@boston.gov to confirm attendance.
