CLEARING, PLOWING AND SALTING OF MUNICIPAL STAIRCASES FOOTPATHS

The City of Boston, acting by its Commissioner, invites sealed bids for the performance of the work generally

described above, and particularly set forth in the Invitation for Bids.

Bid documents may be obtained at Room 714, (Contract Office), City Hall, Boston, MA commencing at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2022. There will be a charge of five dollars ($5.00) NOT REFUNDABLE, for each set of contract documents taken out.

A Virtual Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 10:00 am. Every Sealed bid shall be submitted in accordance with the invitation for Bids and shall be filed no later than Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 11:00 am at the office of the Official, Public Works Department, Room 714, Boston City Hall. Interested parties will be able to view the event live through a link provided by Public Works upon receiving your bid packet.

Sealed bids will be opened and read aloud through a virtual meeting by the Official, Public Works on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Boston City Hall, Boston, MA in Room 714.

This procurement is being released as part of the City of Boston’s Sheltered Market Program. Only businesses certified as M/WBE by either the City of Boston or the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office will be eligible to bid. Due to the industry of the work and the proven disparities for that industry, this procurement will be open to black, Latino or Asian owned businesses. 3 responsive and responsible submissions from eligible businesses are required to award this contract under the Sheltered Market Program.
