The perfect day to visit MAAH's Boston and Nantucket campuses with your family is Free Fun Friday. This year MAAH’s campuses will be free on August 26th. Don't miss our interactive music workshop presented by Castle of Our Skins, an innovative and educational chamber ensemble, at our Boston Campus and special tours of restoration in progress on Nantucket. Courtesy of the Highland Street Foundation, the annual summer program offers visitors no cost admissions to many of the most treasured cultural venues in Massachusetts.

The Freedom Trail Foundation is participating in the 8th annual Free Fun Fridays program sponsored by the Highland Street Foundation. On Friday, August 26, 2016, the Freedom Trail Foundation will offer Foundation-hosted Freedom Trail walking tours at no cost to visitors all day long. This year, 80 museums and cultural institutions will participate in the Free Fun Fridays program. Beginning June 24 and running through August 26, multiple venues will be open free-of-charge every Friday for 10 weeks this summer. Freedom Trail tour tickets will NOT be accepted on any public tours on Friday, August 26.

Please note: Franklin Park Zoo will close one hour early at 4:00 p.m., with the last admission at 3:00 p.m.

Zoo New England is participating in the 8th annual Free Fun Fridays program sponsored by the Highland Street Foundation! The Program includes museums and cultural venues across Massachusetts. Beginning June 24 through August 26, eight venues will be open free-of-charge every Friday. Franklin Park Zoo will only be offering free admission on Friday, August 26.

Free Fun Friday is an increasingly popular event, and we have experienced record attendance in previous years. We're expecting equally high attendance this year, so please plan your visit accordingly!

Parking is free (though lots fill quickly). 

Free Fun Friday is a rain or shine event. Because of the rain some of our exhibits, including Butterfly Landing, Aussie Aviary, and Giraffe Savannah may remain closed throughout the day.
