2022 Boston Unity Cup Tournament Finals

This adult soccer tournament features 22 flag-bearing nations competing in a World Cup-style tournament finals on November 5.

The Boston Unity Cup is a citywide adult soccer tournament celebrating Boston’s diverse community around a shared passion for sport. 



​Hosted in collaboration with local leaders, community organizations, nonprofit programs, and the City of Boston, the Boston Unity Cup is a testament to the power of partnership and what our city can do when we come together.

The tournament is comprised of 22 flag-bearing nations. Teams will vie for the 2022 Boston Unity Cup during the tournament finals on November 5 at Madison Park Stadium in Boston. The schedule also includes:

  • 10 a.m.  - Youth Jamboree and Resource Fair
  • 12 p.m. - Parade of Nations
  • 2 p.m. - Closing Ceremony and Trophy Presentations

Hike Boston: Beginnings Boston Tour

Hike Boston is hiking and programming series where we invite you to join us for a walk or tour in one of Boston's parks or urban wilds.

Boston Park Rangers, Urban Wilds staff, and Parks employees will provide formal and informal discussions or tours during the hikes. Some hikes may be more focused on taking a walk in the park, while others may be more informational.

THIS IS NOT A HIKE - THIS IS A PROGRAM Description: Discover Boston's eventful history with our Urban Park Rangers as you stroll along the Boston Common and parts of the Freedom Trail exploring historical events, people, and communities that have shaped our city over the past 5 decades. Beginning Boston Tours vary in length from .5 miles up to 2 miles. Depending on the length, they can last from 30 minutes up to 2 hours. Starting location will be outside the VIC, with the ending location varying from tour-to-tour.  Restrooms and drinking water may or may not be available, come prepared with whatever you will need for the walk or hike.

The Boston Public Health Commission is holding a free Family COVID-19 Vaccination Event for children, families and anyone who needs a COVID-19 vaccine or booster.

COVID-19 vaccines and the new Omicron-specific booster will be available at this event. Registration is encouraged and walk-ins are welcome! 

$75 gift cards will be offered to people 18 and under who get vaccinated or boosted and to one caregiver who gets vaccinated or boosted with them at the event. Gift cards will be available to these individuals while supplies last. Please note that registering in advance does not guarantee you a gift card. 

This event is geared toward vaccinating Boston children and families, but everyone is welcome to get vaccinated at this event.

The City of Boston commissioned Victor "Marka27" Quiñonez to create the mural "Souledad" at Washington Manor in the South End as part of the Transformative Public Art Program. Join the artist, the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture, the Boston Housing Authority, Youth Lead the Change, and local community members for a celebration of the new artwork. The event will be held at the mural site (1701 Washington Street) on October 1 from 12 - 2 p.m. The event is free and open to all ages.
