Disability Inclusion Trained Business Certification
This training teaches businesses how to remove many access barriers in a free or low cost way to bring on more customers.
The City of Boston’s Disability Commission is excited to offer our Disability Inclusion Trained Business Certification. This program provides participants the opportunity to learn how to reduce barriers in low cost or even free ways, bringing even more patrons in by providing a more accessible environment.
Program Purposes
This program has three purposes.
(1) To train Boston businesses on their responsibilities under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
(2) To encourage businesses to make reasonable modifications to existing, official and nonofficial, policies that will help improve the overall accessibility of their establishment.
(3) Assist Boston businesses in removing barriers that are readily achievable
