Planning For A Safe, Healthy And Active Summer 2025

We're committed to meeting and working with our community members to ensure that all Bostonians have the necessary resources and support to have a safe, healthy, and active summer in 2025.

Each year, the Mayor's Office of Community Safety builds and implements the Summer Safety Plan. We're focused on ensuring all Bostonians, especially youth, have access to necessary summer resources, events, and programs. This year, we've redeveloped our approach by prioritizing community input during our development of the plan, and delivering resources to the community before summer begins.

In partnership with the community and other City of Boston departments, we heard from neighbors across the City on what a safe and successful summer looks like in Boston. This spring, we’re hosting engagements around the city focused on delivering resources to the community before summer begins. Our Village Vibes Series is coming to 8 neighborhoods this spring.
