Education

We work to make sure all students and families get quality equitable education services and support from the City of Boston.

Our policy work focuses on special education, bilingual, and technical education. We also build ties between the state, City, private companies, and colleges and universities. The goal is to give Boston students the education and skills to succeed in life.

We oversee the Boston School Department and all the City’s education programs.
