City is in a position to seek judgment and has received no communication from the assessed owner and no payments since 2011. It is our belief that the widow of Marian Walke, Mark Dulcey lives in the property. He has been served notice, but has made no communication with the City.
The Department of Neighborhood Development acquires surplus and foreclosed property and is responsible for managing this real estate. We work to create housing and open space by making that land available to Bostonians over time through a public Request for Proposals process. This parcel of land is not yet planned for development, but stay tuned!
