Winthrop Roof

hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites sealed bids for the above-entitled project.

Bids shall be on a form supplied by PFD, be clearly identified as a bid, and signed by the bidder. All bids for this project are subject to sections 26-27, 29 and 44A-44J, inclusive of Chapter 149 of the General Laws, as amended, and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: Winthrop Roof project.

The scope of work is further detailed in the specifications roof replacement and repairs to be performed at the site.

All filed sub-bids shall be filed with the Awarding Authority at the Bid Counter, 2 Center Plaza, Suite 700 Boston, MA 02108, on or before January 4, 2023, at 12 p.m.

All general bids shall be filed with the Awarding Authority at 2 Center Plaza, Suite 700 Boston, MA 02108 on or before January 18, 2024, at 12:00 p.m.

Plans and specifications will be available on or about December 18, 2023, plans and specifications are only.  available electronically and by requesting access for such through bid.info@boston.gov.

CITY OF BOSTON PUBLIC FACILITIES - NOTIFICATION OF ADDRESS CHANGE Beginning November 28, 2023, the City of Boston Public Facilities Department will only be accepting bids at the following location: 2 Center Plaza, Suite 700 Boston, MA 02108.

If you are delivering the submission in person, place it in the PFD Bid Box on the 7th Floor of 2 Center Plaza. Directions to the bid box: When getting off the elevators on the 7th floor, take a right and ring the bell next to the double glass doors in order to be let in.

You can also call the PFD Bid Room at 617-635-4809, or the PFD Front Desk at 617-635-0412. Once inside the glass doors you’ll see the bid box on the table near the reception desk.
