Window Washing Services at Four Locations (Boston City Hall, Faneuil Hall, 1010 Massachusetts Ave and Parkman House)

The City of Boston acting by its Property Management Department (PMD), through its Commissioner of the Property Management Department (the Official), invites bids for Window Cleaning Services more particularly set forth in the Invitation for Bids, which may be obtained from the City's procurement website and Supplier Portal (cityofboston.gov/procurement) under Event ID EV00014713 beginning at 9:00 A.M. on August 19, 2024.  The Invitation for Bids shall be available until the bid opening.

 

THE INDIVIDUAL SCOPE(S) OF WORK is further detailed in the specifications and includes the following:  with a responsive and responsible contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment to perform interior and exterior window cleaning services on all nine (9) floors at Boston City Hall, all six (6) floors at 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, all four (4) floors plus attic floors of Faneuil Hall, and all four (4) floors plus attic floors of the Francis Parkman House - twice per location. Once in the Fall of 2024 and once in the Spring of 2025 and in the same time intervals for the next two fiscal years subject to available appropriations.

The City has arranged for a Mandatory Pre-Bidder Conference scheduled for all prospective contractors on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 9:00 A.M. to provide an opportunity to understand the scope of work and access to windows.   All participants shall meet in Room 811 of Boston City Hall.  

All proposals shall be filed no later than 12:00 p.m. on September 13, 2024 at the above-mentioned site.  All hard copy bids can be submitted to an Official at the Property Management Department, Boston City Hall, Room 811, Boston, MA 02201 on or before 12:00 P.M. on September 13, 2024.
