Assessment of the City of Boston Inclusionary Development Policy and the Feasibility of Changes to the Policy

The City of Boston Director of the Department of Neighborhood Development through this Request for Proposals (RFP) is seeking interested and qualified Applicants to provide consultant services to DND related to housing finance, housing demand and feasibility analyses, zoning, and inclusionary housing ordinances. Key deliverables include an assessment and evaluation of the City’s current Inclusionary Development Policy, and recommendations to increase its effectiveness.

The deadline to submit all questions regarding the RFP is 2/9/22, by 5:00 pm, by email to tim.davis2@boston.gov

A contract will be awarded with a contract term of 6 months, 4/1/22–9/30/22.  There will be one option to renew the contract for an additional 6 months, 10/1/22 –3/31/23.

The RFP package will be available beginning January 18, 2022 from the City’s purchasing website, Supplier Portal (boston.gov/Procurement).
