Job Training Services

On Monday, September 30, 2024 at 9 AM, on behalf of Mayor Wu and the City of Boston, the Worker Empowerment Cabinet of the City of Boston will issue an open and competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) for services funded via American Rescue Plan Act dollars in partnership with the Life Sciences Workforce Development Initiative. Training a diverse workforce to meet future labor demand in healthcare is critical to the Worker Empowerment’s workforce development strategies in 2024 and beyond. Toward that aim, the City of Boston seeks a technical consultant to conduct an analysis of current and future labor demand in the City’s healthcare sector. OWD seeks an assessment of the ability of Boston’s workforce development system to meet the demand of healthcare occupations equitably and effectively and provide recommendations to inform OWD’s strategic decision-making. A bidder’s conference will be held on Thursday, October 10th at 1:00PM virtually via zoom; accommodations for persons with disabilities available upon request. Interested parties can register for the bidder’s conference at https://bit.ly/HealthcareAnalysisBidCon. Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to attend. A Letter of Intent to Bid is encouraged and may be submitted by October 25th, 2024 by submitting a letter to this https://bit.ly/LOIHealthcareAnalysis. Technical Proposals will be due via upload to https://bit.ly/HealthcareRFPApps by 5:00 PM EDT Thursday October 31, 2024. Separately, Price Proposals will be due via upload to https://bit.ly/HealthcareRFPPriceProposals at the same time. No email submission will be accepted. 

This RFP is to identify a consultant for funding during Fiscal Year 2025, from January 1, 2025 – June 30, 2025.
