The Boston Parks and Recreation Department, acting through its Commissioner, is requesting designer services, including site analysis, design development plans, construction documents, cost estimates and construction observation, or master planning for improvements to the following parks:

Projects flagged with an asterisk are the highest priority for scheduling.  Projects that are not flagged will be initiated as BPRD project management staffing allows.  Additional projects beyond this list may be added on an as-needed basis. Professional services shall be completed as stated in the “Request For Qualifications” which also outlines project fees.  Applicants must be registered Landscape Architects or Engineers in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  The Request For Qualifications will be available for pick up (no mailings will be sent) from the Election Department, Room 241, Boston City Hall, Boston, MA 02201.  The means to deliver responses will be described in the Request for Qualifications.  Due to the current public health crisis public access to City Hall has been placed on a limited schedule.  RFQs will only be available for pickup during restricted days and times.  Respondents must make an appointment using the following link if they are picking up RFQs during these restricted times:  https://meetings.hubspot.com/facilities-bids-appointments. The RFQs can also be accessed online at http://www.cityofboston.gov/procurement/events. The “Request For Qualifications” will be available for pick up as of TUESDAY, APRIL 21, 2020  and must be returned no later than 12:00 P.M. on FRIDAY, MAY 15, 2020.  If Designers determine not to submit a response due to the Covid-19 outbreak they should contact Annie Blair, Project Manager at 617-961-3028 or email annie.blair@boston.gov by May 1, 2020 so that we can consider delaying or modifying the RFQ if needed.
